# Dify self-hosted quickstart (from the official README)

Source: https://github.com/langgenius/dify — requires Docker and Docker Compose v2.24.0+.

```bash
git clone https://github.com/langgenius/dify.git
cd dify/docker
cp .env.example .env
docker compose up -d
```

Then open http://localhost/install to create the admin account.

We ship the official compose file reference rather than a copy, so you always run the maintained version:
